Why use thicker, more costly material when a Beading Bend in thinner material provides adequate strength? A JFY press brake set up with a Beading Bar creates stabilised angles by “diagonal beading” also known as “angular bracing.” When bent over the beading bar, an upward rib formation is created right across the bending radius that is perpendicular to the direction of the bend. The effect stiffens the bent corner and makes the part more rigid, even with thinner material.
